Keeping it local - part 3!

In one of our previous blog posts we showcased the new logo and branding that we’d created for our local school – off the back of this they asked us to re-design their website to really bring the new brand alive.

Working with WordPress (of course!) we’re really pleased with how the new site is looking.  Easy for the school office to do their own updates and with a newly introduced blog to their site they can now keep parents and children easily updated with all their news both from the school and the PTA (WANSA) but also from the Junior Leadership Team which allows the Y6 children to write their own blog posts.

NEW BUSINESS: BCAS Biomed

After a competitive pitch we are really excited to announce that we’ll be working with BCAS Biomed as their marketing agency … we’ve some great ideas including Direct Mail, Content Generation, PR and E-DM and can’t wait to get cracking …

Keeping it local - part 2!

The local out-of-school club wanted a new logo and they’d set a competition amongst the children for them to design a character for the club.

Anya, aged 6, designed a fabulous squirrel and we were then tasked with turning her drawing into a new logo!

We gave Anya’s squirrel an acorn so we could incorporate into our design and the new logo got the thumbs up from all the children (and the grown-ups!).

We gave their website a very quick face-lift as well too introduce the logo and styling.

NEW CLIENT: The Shanly Group

We were really excited to start working with The Shanly Group – our first challenge was to review all their marketing activity and look at how the marketing team was utilised by the business.  We conducted 1:1 ‘extraction’ sessions with key stakeholders and personnel across Shanly Homes, Sorbon Estates and the Shanly Foundation plus did a ‘deep dive’ into their customer journey, reviewing all their feedback from their in-house customer surveys and carrying out some site visits.

Presenting back to the board with our recommendations on a new team structure, new B2B initiatives and a new way of thinking we’re excited to be part of the implentation of these changes … watch this space!

13 years?! WOW!

So back on 4th June 2004 I officially set up chicken/egg and started trading – I can’t quite believe that we’re now in our 13th year, wow!

As always thanks to everyone who has been part of the chicken/egg journey, from my amazing team (both old and new) and our fantastic clients (both old and new) … I can’t wait to see what the next year holds!

Onwards …

From the archives: Press Advertising

Working with Budget we developed an advertising campaign for their partnership with the Royal College of Nursing.   Two different creative routes were run across both print and digital platforms.

Monarch - Check-in Desks

We were tasked with re-designing the Birmingham Check-In Desk to make it more ‘on-brand’ … with a plan to then roll out the design across other airports.

Lee Valley BIG 50 giveaway!

We’ve worked with Lee Valley for the past three years and it was an honour to be asked to design their 50th ‘logo’ a few months back.

We also produced their 50th PowerPoint presentation to showcase how the company has grown from a gravel pit to a vibrant and exciting destination plus we produced a showreel video bringing the whole transformation to life!

To mark their 50th they’re also running the Lee Valley BIG 50 giveaway and we were tasked with producing all the press advertising and flyers driving people to the Big 50 website (not done by us!)

Christmas Chick Capers!

So the first chocolate from the advent calendar has been scoffed, dairies are bursting with festive outings and the stockpiling of sellotape has begun in earnest (or that might just be me!) …

We’ve not sent Christmas cards out (or gifts this year) and instead will be sending chickens via World Vision on behalf of our clients and we’d love to send one in your name as well!   The gift of a chicken can make a huge difference and can help a family start a thriving operation rearing chicks, selling eggs and enriching the diets of their children.

Our little blue chick has donned his Santa Hat and he’s waiting for you to help him.  Have a go at our Christmas Chick Capers game – all you have to do is catch the falling presents and eggs (eggs-tra points!) but avoid the crackers or you’ll lose a life.  On the 23rd December we’ll pick someone from the top ten scores and, on their behalf, we’ll arrange everything with World Vision.  By the way, it’s best to play on a mobile or tablet!

On behalf of chicken/egg I’d like to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
